While most drivers adhere to the rules of the road in Brevard County, there is still a possibility that an accident will happen. There are numerous reasons for this. It could be because of negligence, driving under the influence, the weather or simply being in the wrong place at the wrong time. With motor vehicle accidents, there can be fatalities.
A recent car accident involving numerous vehicles claimed the lives of three sisters and injured six people. The accident happened at approximately 1:20 a.m on I-95 in Brevard County. According to the investigation, a man driving a 2008 Infiniti was heading north and left the roadway and went into the other lane. It crashed into a 2007 Hyundai head-on and killed the three sisters including the 64-year-old driver and the 66 and 56-year-old passengers. Another passenger, a 66-year-old woman, is hospitalized in critical condition. Another car was rear-ended with the male driver suffering minor injuries. A fourth car was also hit by debris with that driver suffering minor injuries. The driver of the first car was injured seriously. His passengers were also hurt and are in serious condition.
When there is a fatal accident of any kind, there might be medical bills before the death. The person who was killed could have been the primary earner in the household or an important part of the family. There will be funeral expenses and the emotional upheaval that comes from an unexpected death. All of these things must be accounted for.
Families who are dealing with the loss of a loved one might not want to think about financial aspects as they’re grieving, but it’s unavoidable. Before accepting a payout from the insurance company, those left behind must keep their options open to consider litigation.
In this fatal car crash, three sisters were killed when a vehicle ran into their car’s path causing a head-on collision. Other people were injured. Given the still unknown reason for this crash and that the end results were so terrible, their families need to understand what to do next. For help, they should discuss the matter with an attorney experienced in dealing with fatal accidents.
